Background
Spherix sells depth. Their differentiator is ten-plus years of proprietary primary data gathered from curated physician, patient, and payer communities — not the resold commercial and claims data their larger competitors trade in. The problem with selling depth is that a brand manager researching a specific indication needs to find the therapeutic area that matters to them, immediately, and see that Spherix has real history in it. A flat services site buries that.
Scope of work
Messaging and structure
Reframed the site around the three research audiences Spherix actually fields — Physician, Patient, and Payer Insights — and made therapeutic expertise a first-class navigation layer rather than a paragraph. Each of the eight specialties (CNS, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Nephrology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Rheumatology) became a real destination, so a nephrology lead lands on nephrology.
Search visibility
Built the therapeutic-area pages as the organic entry points, each targeting the indication language buyers actually search. Structured the expert team profiles so individual analysts are discoverable by name and specialty — in this market, buyers search for the person as often as the firm.
Design and build
WordPress build with a component library that lets Spherix add a therapeutic area or a new report without a developer. Integrated the client portal and the research-participation portal so panelists and clients enter through the same front door.
Outcome
The site now leads with perspective and specialty depth instead of a generic services list, and each therapeutic area stands as its own organic entry point.
What Spherix was left holding is a site that grows with the practice: a new therapeutic area, a new report, or a new analyst profile goes live without a developer, and each one arrives as its own indexable entry point rather than another line on a services page. For a firm whose competitive position rests on depth accumulating over time, the site now compounds the same way the data does.
